Research Interests: Assembly of nanoscale materials and their applications to interesting problems in chemistry, including solar energy conversion, nanoscale electronics, environmental remediation, fuel cell electrochemistry, chemical sensing, and catalysis.

Chemistry of Nanoscale Inorganic Materials

The Mallouk Group is interested in several problems in materials chemistry, including photocatalysis, molecular electronics, fuel cell electrochemistry, environmental remediation, chemical sensing, and motion on the nanoscale. Our approach involves the synthesis of materials that contain both molecular and solid state components, and study of their structure and properties by a variety of physical techniques.
